Duties
- Assist with food preparation and presentation, ensuring high standards of quality and cleanliness in line with food safety management protocols
- Serve meals to customers efficiently using POS systems, maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor at all times
- Follow food safety sanitizing procedures diligently to uphold hygiene standards across all work areas
- Handle manual tasks such as weight handling in the workplace, food handling, and catering setup with care and precision
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, kitchen stations, and equipment to ensure a safe and inviting environment
- Support banquet events by setting up serving stations and assisting with food distribution
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries promptly and courteously, enhancing their overall experience
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred, especially in catering environments
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitizing procedures, and food handling regulations is essential
- Experience with serving in a fast-paced setting
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including weight handling in the workplace
- Culinary or food industry experience such as barista work or dietary aide background is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Basic understanding of wine knowledge or beverage service is beneficial but not required
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to food service operations
