Duties
- Oversee the night shift operations at the front desk, ensuring smooth check-in and check-out processes for all guests.
- Conduct nightly audits of guest accounts, ensuring accuracy in billing and reservations, and prepare financial reports for management review.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with a positive attitude, providing personalized solutions that enhance their stay.
- Monitor security cameras and perform safety checks around the property to maintain a secure environment for guests and staff.
- Manage multi-line phone systems with professionalism, answering calls efficiently while providing information about hotel services and local attractions.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as updating reservation records, processing payments, and maintaining guest files with precision.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address any overnight issues or special requests from guests.
Skills
- Strong background in hospitality management with previous hotel or resort experience preferred.
- Multilingual abilities or bilingual skills are highly valued to better serve our diverse guest base.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and a passion for guest relations.
- Proficiency in front desk operations, including multi-line phone systems and phone etiquette.
- Knowledge of hotel management software and night audit procedures to ensure accurate recordkeeping.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations discreetly while maintaining professionalism during late-night hours.
