What You Will Enjoy Doing
The Materials Coordinator supports the Logistics Manager and Planner in taking care of the Supply Chain Integration.
Main Responsibilities:
· Assists Logistics Manager and Planner with material coordination
o Inputs and records figures on computer to compile reports
o Interpret planning schedule to ensure required materials are available for upcoming production
o Using 12-month forecast/histogram determines raw materials forecast for monthly reporting to procurement manager
o Input and record raw materials data (silo readings) into computer database to compile reports
o Submit / receive purchase orders for raw materials / packaging items
· Communicates with suppliers regarding
o On time deliveries
o Quality / shipment
o Material availability
o Placing tracking orders
o Sampling request
· New project coordination
o Ensures material availability
· Back up responsibilities for Planner
o Coordinates shipments
