Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Veterinarian role based in Concord, CA. The Veterinarian will provide medical care, diagnoses, and treatment for a variety of companion animals. Daily responsibilities include conducting examinations, performing surgeries, prescribing medications, advising on preventative care, and collaborating with the veterinary team to ensure the highest standard of care. Additional responsibilities may involve client education and building strong relationships with pet owners.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in diagnosing and treating medical conditions in animals, including small animals and companion pets
- Experience in performing surgeries, prescribing medications, and developing treatment plans
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to educate and support pet owners
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with veterinary staff
- Dedication to maintaining patient wellness through preventative care and ongoing health management
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution and a valid license to practice veterinary medicine in California
