Job Description

We are seeking a Digital Product Analyst / Junior Product Manager to join a fast-paced, growing financial technology organization. This role will focus on translating business needs into actionable product requirements and supporting the delivery of digital solutions. You will work closely with Product Managers, software engineers, QA teams, designers, and business stakeholders to develop user stories, define acceptance criteria, document requirements, and support Agile delivery from discovery through launch.

This is a hands-on product delivery role focused on feature execution rather than high-level product strategy. You will help take features from the product roadmap, break them down into epics and user stories, manage development tickets, support testing, and ensure functionality meets business requirements and delivers meaningful user outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Product Managers to translate product features and roadmap priorities into actionable development requirements.
  • Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements from stakeholders.
  • Break down product features into epics, detailed user stories, and clearly defined acceptance criteria.
  • Create, manage, and refine development tickets using Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
  • Collaborate daily with software engineers, QA teams, Product Managers, and designers to support feature development and delivery.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, sprint reviews, and demos.
  • Support sprint-level execution by tracking progress, identifying blockers, and coordinating with development teams.
  • Test software functionality, identify bugs, and validate that completed features meet business requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Evaluate feature needs, user workflows, and business processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Work with UX flows, wireframes, and user journeys to ensure product requirements align with the intended user experience.
  • Maintain accurate product documentation, functional specifications, and development requirements.
  • Support product delivery from initial requirements gathering through development, testing, and launch.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues, clarify requirements, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Focus on measurable feature outcomes and delivering functionality that creates value for users and the business.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
  • 3–8 years of total professional experience in product analysis, business analysis, product ownership, business systems analysis, or a similar technology-focused role.
  • Hands-on experience writing detailed user stories, epics, acceptance criteria, and software development tickets.
  • Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into actionable requirements for software developers.
  • Experience working directly with Product Managers, software engineers, and QA teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Experience supporting Agile/Scrum development teams, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and sprint execution.
  • Experience using Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar Agile delivery and documentation tools.
  • Experience testing software functionality, identifying bugs, and validating completed development work against business requirements.
  • Understanding of software development processes, feature delivery, and product lifecycle management.
  • Familiarity with UX flows, wireframes, user journeys, and how design decisions impact functional requirements.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced technology environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with technical and nontechnical stakeholders to ensure successful product delivery.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working for a software, SaaS, fintech, or technology-focused organization.
  • Experience with Pendo or similar product analytics platforms.
  • Familiarity with Figma or other UX/design collaboration tools.
  • Experience supporting AI-related product features or writing development tickets involving AI functionality.
  • Experience working on modern cloud-based applications or digital product platforms.
  • Understanding of user behavior, product analytics, and feature performance metrics.
