What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sanitation Technician - 7pm-5am position at Alpine Slicing and Cheese Conversion?
This is a permanent, full time position. Duties include safely clean and sanitize all equipment according to company policies related to food safety and good manufacturing practices (GMPSs). This includes disassembling and reassembling equipment as needed according to sanitation stand operating procedures (SSOPs).
Requirements:
- Must attend periodic training and safety meetings.
- Ability to carry/lift up to 50lbs.
- Maintain equipment clean and orderly.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for the day to day operation of the facility.
- Must maintain a neat appearance.
- Requires full range of motion with the ability to stand, move, lift, reach or kneel throughout the shift.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
Knowledge And Skills
- Knowledge of basic cleaning practices, industrial cleaning and responsibilities very helpful.
- Detail oriented.
- Must have good listening and verbal communication skills.
- Must be self motivated
- Bilingual skills a PLUS!
