Job Description
We are seeking a full-time Deputy Ranch Foreman who is experienced, hardworking and dependable. The ideal candidate is flexible, enjoys hands-on work, and thrives in an outdoor environment.
Responsibilities
- General ranch labor including equipment repair and general property/facilities maintenance
- Operate ranch equipment such as tractors, trucks, and trailers
- Assist with hay harvesting
- Assist with setup, management and breakdown of irrigation operations
- Support event setup and tear down for weddings and other private events
- Assist with groundskeeping, carpentry, and other general maintenance tasks
- Other tasks as needed to support ranch operations
Qualifications
- 5 years’ experience in general ranch labor or a similar role
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in agriculture or related field preferred.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment and perform maintenance tasks
- Communicate effectively with ranch management and staff
- Hardworking, punctual and self-motivated
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Strong physical ability, able to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Able to pass a background check
- Flexible to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed
Pay: $30.00 per hour
