What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dental Hygienist position at Alpine Dental-Bozeman MT?
Our growing dental practice needs a Dental Hygienist to join a close-knit team. We are an established practice with wonderful patients ranging from pre-school to the elderly. We are a one doctor practice with an enthusiastic team who are dedicated to quality dental care. Alpine Dental is looking for a team player that understands the mouth is the “window” to overall health of the body. We need a passionate clinician that can recognize early disease and is then able to implement a comprehensive clinical approach that prevents, treats, and controls periodontal disease utilizing laser therapy as well as improving overall patient health.
Responsibilities for this position include:
*Excellent communication and time management skills
*Providing routine preventive and periodontal treatment, oral cancer screenings, and implant maintenance for new and existing patients
*Providing patient education and assuring that all patients are as comfortable as possible
*Experience with cavitron
*Licensed in the state of Montana
*Local anesthesia certification is a plus
*Proficiency with digital radiographs, computer charting programs and Laser technology
*Team player
Successful candidate will possess a strong work ethic and a desire to learn in a patient focused medical environment. The capability to effectively interact and co-exist with both patients and team members is absolutely essential. Patient care is our first priority, and we require that our staff share our enthusiasm in maintaining this ideal.
