Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Elmhurst, IL, for a Front Office Coordinator. The Front Office Coordinator will manage receptionist duties such as welcoming patients, handling phone calls with professional etiquette, scheduling appointments, and ensuring top-notch customer service. Additional responsibilities include maintaining the daily office administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations and providing support to both patients and team members.
Responsibilities
- Greet and check in patients
- Answer phones and schedule appointments
- Verify dental insurance benefits
- Process patient payments and insurance claims
- Maintain patient records and charts
- Coordinate treatment scheduling and follow-ups
- Support the dental team with administrative tasks
Qualifications
- Previous dental front office or dental receptionist experience preferred
- Experience with Dentrix, a plus
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Basic computer proficiency
