Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Junior Mine Engineer - EIT with significant project work located in North Idaho. The primary responsibilities include project engineering support, performing engineering analyses, and supporting active mining operations. The candidate will support on-going construction and development projects as a field engineer including developing scopes of work, defining critical tasks, prepare technical reports, and collaborate with senior engineers to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. The position also involves problem-solving and contributing to project efficiency and safety improvements.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Project Management and Mining Engineering
- Understanding of Hard Rock and Hard Rock Mining processes and operations
- Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, or a related field
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or eligibility to obtain it
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Experience with relevant mining software is a plus
- Commitment to safety standards and environmental regulations
