Commercial Construction Estimator
Alpine Construction Management (ACM)

What You’ll Do
- Conduct pre-bid site visits
- Perform quantity takeoffs and cost analysis
- Coordinate subcontractor bids and vendor pricing
- Prepare and submit detailed project estimates
- Build and maintain strong subcontractor and vendor relationships
- Support the preconstruction process from start to finish
- Contribute to a collaborative, solutions-focused team environment

- Experience with:
- Commercial construction and/or estimating
- Vendor relationships and negotiations
- Construction management software

- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in commercial construction estimating or a related role

- Proven experience performing quantity takeoffs and cost analysis
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and bid documents
- Experience coordinating with subcontractors and vendors, including pricing and negotiations
- Proficiency in construction management and estimating software
- Working knowledge of:
- Bluebeam
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience working for a commercial general contractor
- Familiarity with local subcontractor and vendor market (Boise/Treasure Valley area)
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience with bid solicitation and leveling
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a small-team environment
