General Purpose

The Training Administrator is responsible for coordinating, administering, tracking, and supporting training programs across the organization. This role ensures the smooth operation of training initiatives by managing logistics, maintaining training records, monitoring compliance, supporting learners, and providing data-driven insights on training effectiveness.  

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

  • Serves as a primary point of contact for employee training inquiries and support.
  • Performs any system and procedure testing requests made to the Training Department.
  • Administers and maintains training records within the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Coordinates training schedules, registrations, enrollments, attendance, and course completions.
  • Coordinates, manages, and supports on-site classroom, virtual, and hybrid training events.
  • Coordinates logistics for StarQuest and other leadership programs.
  • Assists with travel, lodging, facility coordination, and vendor communication, when applicable.
  • Monitors assigned training programs to ensure deadlines and completion requirements are met.
  • Collects participant feedback and evaluation data, to ensure high-quality learner experience.
  • Identifies and reports on training trends, recurring challenges, retention metrics, skill gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Administration and monitoring of Alpine Bank’s Service Guide.
  • Coordinates development and updating of Training materials and guidelines, as necessary.
  • Administers, coordinates, and tracks Officer Trainee Program, to include, but not limited to, onboarding, scheduling, progress monitoring, communication, and reporting on the program.
  • Regular and Reliable attendance is required as an essential function of this position.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications 

Knowledge, Skills, and Ability:

  • Understanding of systems, such as, but not limited to, Xperience, Prelim, Synapsys, Synergy, Teller Cash Recycler’s.
  • In depth knowledge of the Learning Management System (LMS) and training record administration.
  • Advanced organizational and project coordination skills. 
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and reporting tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and identify trends, gaps, and opportunities.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Knowledge of banking operations, products, regulations, and compliance requirements preferred.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
  • Understanding of banking compliance regulations. 

Education or Formal Training:

  • High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) equivalent required.
  • An Associate Degree (AA) in Education, Technology or relevant field is preferred.
  • Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid State of Colorado Drivers’ License is required.

Experience:

  • Two (2) or more years of related experience within a professional environment. 
  • Previous experience in a bank or financial institution highly desired.
  • Training experience preferred.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted on a year-to-year basis. 

Working Conditions

Working Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, filing cabinets, and multifunction printers. May include prolonged periods of standing and/or sitting. Ability to function in a fast-paced environment. May include some evening hours. The Training Facilities hours are typically 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday – Friday. Occasional travel to all Training Facilities and bank locations will be required.

These are representative of those which must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.  May spend significant time doing computer work. Physical demands of standing for long periods of time, good eyesight and hand/finger dexterity, and ability to remain calm and professional with upset customers.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus. Employee also may have to lift up to 50 pounds. Repetitive motion likely.

Starting Rate of Pay is from $24.50 to $29.50 per hour, depending on experience.
