Job Description: JOB PURPOSE: The Maintenance Planner will plan & coordinate all maintenance activities on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. This person will maintain planning software & be responsible for assigning routine preventative maintenance tasks, planning non-routine maintenance, repairs, inspections, tracking utilization, and optimizing work efficiency with available resources to minimize equipment downtime. DESCRIPTION OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Develop preventative maintenance schedule Analyze data for efficiency improvements Schedule maintenance task Utilize company software enter workflow while improving utilization Monitor scheduling efficiency & performance Enter & track work orders Hold weekly planning meetings to coordinate & share resource planning Setup new PMs and work orders in computerized maintenance management system Hold collaborating cross-functional meetings to prioritize work activities Assist with planning and scheduling of maintenance activities. Train other personnel as needed. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: (To perform this job successfully, and individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. High school diploma and/or GED required Previous maintenance planning & scheduling experience Basic math skills to include addition, subtraction and percentages Basic computer skills Familiarity with CMMS software Communication & Team Collaboration skills Mechanically inclined – able to identify mechanical and electrical spare parts. Able to regularly lift and handle parts weighing up to 50 pounds. Able to operate a forklift, pallet jack, hand truck, and electric cart. Personal Protection Equipment (including, but not limited to, boots, gloves, safety glasses, and/or face shields) is required during various processes in the production area.
