Responsibilities
- Prepare and review federal, state, and local business tax returns for corporations, partnerships, and S corporations
- Prepare complex individual income tax returns for business owners, executives, and high-net-worth clients
- Conduct tax research and assist with planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities
- Communicate directly with clients to gather information, answer tax-related questions, and provide guidance
- Identify tax-saving opportunities and planning recommendations throughout the year
- Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws and filing requirements
- Collaborate with partners and senior staff on client engagements and consulting projects
- Assist with special tax projects and other advisory services as needed
- 3-5 years of public accounting experience with a primary focus on tax
- Strong experience preparing business and complex individual tax returns
- Significantly more tax experience than audit or assurance
- Working knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and client relationship abilities
- CPA license or CPA candidate preferred, but not required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field preferred
- Ability to work on-site in Allentown, Pennsylvania

Salary : $75,000 - $125,000
