Responsibilities
- Manage commercial interior construction projects from contract award through final completion and closeout
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, procurement plans, and execution strategies
- Review construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documents to verify scope and identify potential issues
- Coordinate with owners, architects, general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel throughout each project
- Monitor project budgets, labor productivity, material procurement, subcontractor performance, and overall financial performance
- Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, billing, and project documentation
- Conduct routine jobsite visits to monitor quality, safety, productivity, and schedule performance
- Identify project risks and implement solutions to minimize impacts on cost, quality, and schedule
- Lead project meetings and provide regular progress updates to clients and internal leadership
- Coordinate punch-list completion, final documentation, project turnover, and closeout activities
- 3 years of project management experience in commercial interior construction
- Experience managing projects involving drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, flooring, or related interior finishes
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
- Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods, contracts, scheduling, budgeting, and project controls
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents
- Experience managing subcontractors, vendors, client relationships, and multiple concurrent projects
- Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms is preferred
- Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed
