About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Loan Officer to join our growing lending team. In this role, you will be responsible for originating residential mortgage loans, building strong client and partner relationships, and ensuring a smooth loan process from application to closing.

You will work closely with processing and underwriting teams to deliver an efficient, high-quality client experience while contributing to a high-performance sales environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate and originate residential mortgage loan applications
• Build and maintain strong relationships with real estate agents, clients, and referral partners
• Assess borrower financial profiles and recommend suitable loan products
• Guide borrowers through the loan process from pre-qualification to closing
• Maintain consistent communication to deliver an excellent client experience
• Collaborate with processors, underwriters, and closing teams to ensure timely loan funding
• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly production targets
• Stay current on loan programs, lending guidelines, and market trends
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and company regulations

Compensation & Commission

• Commission paid per funded loan
• Commission structure based on loan volume and/or loan amount
• Uncapped earning potential
• Performance-based incentives for top producers

(Optional customization)

• Additional bonus incentives available for exceeding monthly production targets

What We’re Looking For

Required:

• Active NMLS Loan Originator License
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Sales-driven mindset with excellent follow-up discipline
• Ability to manage multiple loan files simultaneously
• Basic knowledge of mortgage products and lending processes
• Strong organizational and time-management skills

Preferred:

• 2 years of mortgage lending or loan origination experience
• Experience working with real estate agents and referral networks
• Familiarity with LOS systems (e.g., Encompass, LendingPad, etc.)
• Bilingual skills (e.g., English/Chinese, if applicable)

The expected salary range for this position is $21 per hour plus bonus The actual salary offer will be determined based on the successful candidate's geographic location, relevant experience, and specific skill sets, in accordance with California laws.
