Reporting Analyst

About the Role
Our client, a fast-growing construction services company, is seeking a detail-oriented and highly analytical Reporting Analyst to support financial, operational, and project reporting. This onsite role is based in Anna, TX, and is ideal for someone with strong Excel skills who can convert raw data into actionable insights for leadership.
Key Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and optimize financial and operational reports, dashboards, and visualizations.
• Analyze accounting and project data to track costs, margins, productivity, and performance trends.
• Extract, clean, and manipulate data from CRM, accounting, ERP, and job cost platforms.
• Identify reporting inefficiencies and partner with leadership to implement automation and process improvements.
• Support decision-making with timely, accurate reporting for field operations, finance, and executive leadership.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reporting tools.

Requirements:
Required

• 2–4 years of experience in reporting, accounting, or financial analysis, ideally in construction, pools, or trades-related industries.
• Advanced Excel skills: pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, dashboards, macros, charting, and modeling.
• Experience extracting and consolidating data from multiple systems (CRM/ERP/job cost tools).
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and summarize large data sets.
• Ability to commute daily to the Anna, TX office.

Preferred

• Experience with job costing, project accounting, or WIP reporting.
• Familiarity with construction-specific software such as Procore, Sage, Buildertrend, Foundation, or similar systems.
