Estimator / Project Manager

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Estimator and Project Manager to join our commercial construction team. This dual-role position is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates and then managing awarded projects from pre-construction through closeout. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical ability, deep construction knowledge, and proven leadership to coordinate all phases of project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Estimating Duties

• Analyze blueprints, specifications, proposals, and project documents to develop accurate time, cost, and labor estimates
• Solicit, review, and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes for scope alignment and competitive pricing
• Prepare detailed takeoffs, quantity surveys, and cost breakdowns using estimating software
• Assist in bid strategy, value engineering, and proposal development
  
  

Project Management Duties

• Plan, schedule, and manage construction activities from project award through closeout
• Monitor project costs, track change orders, and ensure alignment with approved budgets
• Conduct regular project meetings and maintain clear communication with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards
• Maintain documentation including RFIs, submittals, contracts, schedules, and progress reports
  
  

Requirements

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in commercial construction estimating and/or project management
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred (equivalent experience accepted)
• Proficiency with construction management and estimating platforms such as Procore, Ecomm, and Autodesk
• Strong understanding of construction means, methods, sequencing, and industry best practices
• Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
