A client of AlphaStaffHCM™ is searching for a Director of Investor Relations who will work to ensure the company is appropriately and strategically positioned with analysts, investors, and all stakeholders.

- Partner closely with the CEO and CFO to shape and communicate the company’s investor relations (IR) narrative, including financial results, strategic priorities, and long-term vision.
- Act as the primary interface between the company and the investment community, including sell-side analysts and buy-side investors.
- Prepare and coordinate materials for earnings calls, investor meetings, conferences, non-deal roadshows (NDRs), analyst days, and one-on-one investor interactions.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with analysts, investors, and other key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Marketing & Communications to ensure investor messaging aligns with the broader corporate brand and digital marketing strategy.
- Monitor market conditions, peer activity, and industry developments (Quantum, Photonics, Semiconductor) and brief senior leadership on relevant trends.
- Support financial analysis and modeling to help frame company performance and metrics for external audiences.
- Measure and track the effectiveness of the investor relations program through analyst coverage, earnings estimates, institutional ownership trends, and valuation metrics.
- Lead and refine the company’s overall Investor Relations strategy, ensuring consistent, clear, and compelling communication across all external and internal-facing channels.
- Clearly articulate the company’s priorities, goals, strategic roadmap, capital allocation strategy, and financial performance to all key stakeholders.
- Manage external IR resources and third-party advisors.
- Develop investor-facing communications, including press releases, investor presentations, scripts for earnings calls, and analyst/investor Q&A materials.
- Partner with Accounting, Finance, and Legal teams to support SEC filings, including quarterly and annual reports, ensuring alignment and accuracy in financial messaging.
- Ensure messaging consistency across earnings calls, investor conferences, roadshows, analyst days, shareholder meetings, website content, and other communication platforms.
- Gather and analyze market intelligence and competitive insights to inform senior leadership of near-term and long-term capital market dynamics.
- Present investor and analyst feedback, sentiment, and perspectives to senior leadership, including recommendations for communication and strategic adjustments.
- Oversee coordination with internal Marketing & Communications teams as well as external PR and communications partners to ensure effective dissemination of the company’s message.
- Support senior leadership and business leaders in positioning the company’s financial narrative in annual reports, quarterly filings, and other shareholder materials.
- Master’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Deep experience in sell-side or buy-side equity research with established relationships across equity capital markets and investment banking teams.
- Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and valuation expertise.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills, especially with external investors and analysts.
- Strong strategic, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to operate with urgency while maintaining accuracy and consistency.
- Prior experience in the Quantum, Photonics, and/or Semiconductor industries.
- Experience scaling or evolving investor relations functions within a high-growth or highly technical company.
- Familiarity with capital markets trends specific to emerging and advanced technology sectors.
