About the Role:
Alphao Staffing Network Inc is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in Tacoma, WA. Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene assistance
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, reporting changes to nursing staff promptly
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper body mechanics and safety protocols
- Support patients with meals, feeding, and hydration needs
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team
- Document patient care activities accurately in accordance with facility policies
Requirements:
- Active and valid CNA certification in the state of Washington
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
- Prior experience in a long-term care, hospital, or clinical setting is a plus
- Strong understanding of patient rights, dignity, and confidentiality (HIPAA)
- Ability to work flexible shifts including days, evenings, nights, and weekends
- Compassionate, patient-centered attitude with excellent communication skills
- Ability to lift, transfer, and assist patients as required by the role
