Reads and interprets work orders, blueprints, and diagrams to select, position and secure machinery. Adjusts machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications, within quality guidelines and in a timely fashion. High school diploma or its equivalent preferred. May have to complete formal training in area of specialty with no to minimal prior experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Typically reports to a supervisor/manager.

Internal Description
Assigned to specific equipment in the digital press area with the opportunity to be crossed trained on equipment in other areas of the operation. Role will include setting up equipment, general maintenance, and meeting production standards related to output and quality.
We are looking for committed and strong work ethic employees that want opportunities to build a career, we are looking for those willing to learn, able to be a team player, have a good attitude and willing to take an active part in suggesting and making daily/weekly suggestions to help with organizational progress.
You will also be crossed trained in multiple areas, learning how to run equipment and tasks in all departments so that you can be moved throughout the building based on need, workflow and order volumes.
Responsibilities
- Set up machines and equipment before production runs, ensuring that they are calibrated and functioning properly.
- Monitor machines during production runs, checking for any issues or malfunctions and adjusting as needed.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with machines and equipment and make repairs or escalate issues as necessary.
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for themselves and other workers.
- Follow production schedules and workflows to ensure that production runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Record production data and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to management.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering, quality control, and production management, to ensure that products meet customer and industry standards.
- Continuously evaluate and improve machine operations to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Participate in training and development programs to improve their skills and knowledge of machines and equipment.
- Perform primary task as well as other tasks assigned as business requires.

Hours
- 800am-12pm Monday through Friday
- Wage range is $15-$18 per hour, depending on digital equipment operation experience.
