What are the responsibilities and job description for the Finance Manager position at AlphaForce Technology Solutions?
Key Accountabilities:
* Support the monthly financial reporting process for Defence; responsibilities include posting journals and completing actual and forecast schedules with supporting commentary and variance analysis
* Provide Business partner services as required.
* Support the development and maintenance of the Strategic Plan, Five Year Plan, in year forecast, and APly opportunities, threats, and levers.
* Perform monthly Balance Sheet reviews, validating and explaining key Balance Sheet movements and closing out key control items as required.
* Presenting financial data to management and be capable of validating and explaining the accounting policies, principles, and procedures involved
* Improving financial processes and maintain their alignment with associated processes
* Researching and reviewing accounting issues and providing recommendations and support
* Support the development and maintenance of long-term project and contract profit plans, including Long-Term Contract Reviews (LTCRs)
* Provide ad hoc support such as, but not limited to, contract billings and payments and misc. financial analysis as required for the Defence Finance team.
Basic Requirements:
* Associate’s degree with at least 4 years of Accounting or Financial analysis experience.
* Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of Accounting or Financial analysis experience.
* Master’s degree; OR
* JD/PhD
* In order to be considered for this position you must be a U.S. Citizen or a Permanent Resident.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

* SAP Experience.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $45.00 per hour
