Salary: $28-$35 Hourly DOEJob SummaryCertified Nurse Assistant provides supportive and personal services for the patients with consideration of dignity and privacy; provides personal care and hygiene to home health patients. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for providing support to the Director of Nursing and the clinical team.Qualifications/Educational RequirementsMust hold a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification.CNA certification preferredAbility read, write and follow directionsDemonstrate compassion, responsibility, and cheerful attitudeKey ResponsibilitiesProvide only those services written in the plan of care and received as written instructions from the registered nurse supervisor as permitted under State law. May provide assistance with the following ADLs during each visit: mobility, transferring, walking, grooming, bathing, dressing or undressing, eating, or toiletingMay perform care assigned by a Registered Nurse (RN) if the delegation is in compliance with current standards of nursing practiceShall complete a clinical note for each visit, which must be incorporated into record at least on a weekly basisFollow the instructions of the professional nurse/therapist in providing carePerform and record accurate measurements (i.e. vital signs, or intake/output as instructed in the care plans)Observe and report any safety hazards found in the clients home or any significant observations regarding the clientAttend staff meetings, attend/complete 12 hours of annual in-services, and participates in orientation of new employeesReport patient complaints to the RNMaintain patient confidentiality/adheres to HIPAA requirements and agency policy and procedures manualReport abnormal findings in patients conditions as observed and per care plan to RNAssist with office intake (scheduling patients, calling patients, order DME, faxing etc)Perform other related and assigned dutiesBenefitsMileage reimbursementParking reimbursementFlexible schedulePay Rate: $28.00 - $35.00 per hourAlphaCare Home Health Corp. is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
