Toddler Teacher Aide
Alphabet Academy is a small locally owned childcare center in Sparks, NV where we focus on the social, emotional, motor, language, and intellectual development of our students while also providing a safe and positive environment. We are currently looking for a fun, caring, patient and dedicated Young Preschool Teacher for children ages 24-36 months. We look forward to hearing from you and welcoming you to our family!

Pay:
$14-$16 an hour (bonuses)
Responsibilities:
- Assist with developing/ implementing age-appropriate lesson plans for young preschool age children
- Input daily activities such as diaper changes, art and lunch onto the Brightwheel app
- Maintain a safe, healthy and clean classroom environment
- Maintain regular communication with parents and coworkers
- Complete required trainings (all continuing education/ training classes are paid for by us)
- Interact and engage with children to support play, exploration, and learning
Qualifications:
- All applicants must be able to work Monday through Friday
- All applicants must be able to obtain a Washoe County Sheriff's card prior to working and a negative TB test result (paid for by us)
- Relevant Job Experience: 1 year (required)
- Kind, friendly and patient personality
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
