Position Summary
The Veterinary Medical Client Service Representative (CSR) is the first and last point of contact for our clients. This role combines excellent customer service skills with veterinary medical knowledge to ensure a positive experience for pets and their people.
Key Responsibilities
Greet clients and patients warmly, in person and over the phone
Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
Communicate medical information, estimates, and discharge instructions clearly and compassionately
Process payments, maintain accurate medical records, and handle client accounts
Coordinate with veterinarians and technicians to support patient care
Handle stressful or emotional situations with empathy and professionalism
Qualifications
Previous experience as a veterinary CSR or in a veterinary medical setting preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Basic understanding of veterinary terminology and procedures (or willingness to learn)
Proficiency with practice management software is a plus
Compassion for animals and their owners is essential
