Alpha Underground is hiring for all positions.

Positions to apply for are:

• Underground Utility Technician
• Directional Drill Operator
• Directional Drill Locator
• Directional Drill Laborer
• Fiber Optic Cable Splicer

Underground Utility Technician - The Underground Utility Technician role is a general laborer position. Employees may be required to provide spotter support for an operator or operate various types of machinery. This position's primary responsibility is to provide emergency excavation services for damaged utilities. This position is subject to on-call rotation. CDL B or A is preferred along with mini-excavator experience.

Directional Drill Operator - The operator of a directional drill is responsible for the safe operation of directional drill machines. CDL B or A, and a minimum of 1 year experience required.

Directional Drill Locator - The locator for a directional drill is responsible for communicating drill head status to the drill operator. CDL B or A preferred. Minimum of 1 year experience locating for a directional drill required.

Directional Drill Laborer - The laborer position will be responsible for potholing utilities and any other support roles given by crew leader/manager.

Fiber Optic Cable Splicer - This position will primarily be responsible for splicing various sized fiber optic cables, however, other tasks may be assigned as needed. Formal Education and/or Certificates preferred. CDL preferred.

Alpha Underground is primarily an underground utility construction company, specializing in new construction, repair/maintenance, as well as commercial acquisition construction. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $35.00 per hour
