The team includes ex-Stripe, Google, and OpenAI engineers with a proven track record of building and scaling iconic products.
Roles and Responsibilities:- Build and scale distributed systems that are robust, reliable, and performant.
- Design and implement backend systems and services with Node.js and Next.js, supporting front-end features in React and TypeScript.
- Ensure data flow, routing, and pipelines are efficient, scalable, and resilient.
- Collaborate with a product-minded team to create delightful and usable features.
- Contribute across the stack as needed, with strong emphasis on backend development.
- Potential to grow into Head of Engineering.
- 8 years of experience as a full-stack or backend engineer.
- Strong backend expertise, with focus on distributed systems design and scaling.
- Deep proficiency with React, Next.js, TypeScript, HTML, CSS.
- Experience with Node.js and Postgres.
- Strong system design knowledge for structuring data flows.
- Product-minded with attention to usability and user delight.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
Preferred:
CS or similar degree from a top-tier university (MIT, Waterloo, Stanford, Berkeley, CMU, etc.)
