What are the responsibilities and job description for the Forensic Engineer position at Alpha Structural?
Forensic Engineer
Must have a Professional Engineer (PE) license in California
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
Must have at least 5 years of experience in structural engineering, including
fieldwork
Must have experience with forensic evaluations, inspections, and troubleshooting
structural issues
Must have knowledge of structural codes and repair best practices, including
CBC, IBC, AISC, ACI, and other applicable codes and standards
Must have strong communication and professional report-writing skills
Must be comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines
Must be comfortable with computers and typing
Must be good at communicating and multitasking
You must have your own transportation and a valid driver’s license
Must be legal to work in the U.S.
Pay range is from $150,000+/year (commission/fee-based, with potential to earn more)
