Job Description:
- As a senior member of the team to analyze business requirements, translating those requirements to customized solutions using the Salesforce platform.
- Implement Salesforce solutions that adhere to platform best practices, and perform peer code reviews.
- Implementation/configuration/development experience in Salesforce.
- Experience with Vlocity and OmniScript development would be critical.
- Extensive experience with Apex development.
- Development experience with Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Process Builder.
- Experience with databases, SOQL, and SQL.
- Experience in writing clean, high quality, and maintainable code. Experience in dealing with software complexity.
- Experience in the full development life-cycle from technical design to development, testing, and deployment.
- Development of Omniscript Orchestrations Plan, Item definitions
- Web Application development experience would be useful.
- Development experience in Java and experience in developing RPCs and RESTful APIs would probably be extremely useful, since our Salesforce systems would be interfacing with our other production systems that are developed in Java, and that use RPCs to interface.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable solutions for CPQ, OM, Billing.
- Produce well-designed, testable, efficient code with high quality
- Independently work with Sales/Channels functional teams on business prioritization, project implementation and post-go-live activities.
- Coordinate and collaborate with architects, leads, developers and team members to obtain requirements, develop solution design, optimization, manage UATs and post-go-live activities
- Evaluate existing code and develop plans to reduce technical debt over time and establish a technology roadmap with system architects
- Leverage expert knowledge of CPQ, Opportunity to implement new business functions within Salesforce
- Maintain and optimize full lifecycle software development using standard configuration, Apex, VisualForce, API's and Force.com applications
- Follows and helps in improving development practices and standards
- Participate in reviewing and debugging existing source code and resolve support requests for existing environments.
- Host presentations and trainings to professional peers
- Updates job knowledge by researching new technologies and software products
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- 8 years in Salesforce development with a strong understanding of the Salesforce Security model.
- Hands-on experience in Salesforce configuration/customization using Apex, Visualforce, Triggers, Batch classes,Lighting web components (LWC),CPQ.
- 7 years of designing and developing enterprise-level applications in similar long-term roles
- Experience in the SaaS technology environment. Experience working in sales, experience cloud.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and continuous integration environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Web services experience preferred (REST, SOAP)
- Understanding of object-oriented concepts
- Familiar with integration applications such as Apigee
- Working knowledge of Web and Javascript frameworks are an added plus
- self-motivated, able to work independently, prioritize effectively, and perform multiple tasks under minimal supervision
- Salesforce certified developers preferred(PD2, System Arch, Integration Arch etc)
