Key Responsibilities -
- Operate haul trucks to transport material within construction sites or between short-haul locations
- Follow designated routes and adhere to site-specific traffic plans and safety protocols
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Assist with basic maintenance and cleaning of assigned truck
- Safely back up to loaders, hoppers, or dump zones and dump material at designated locations
- Communicate clearly with foremen, operators, and spotters to ensure safe truck movement
- Maintain proper load balance and ensure material is secured when necessary
- Comply with all company safety procedures and wear proper PPE at all times
- Assist with light labor or equipment-related tasks when trucks are not in use
- Perform additional duties as assigned

- 2 years of experience operating haul trucks or similar heavy equipment preferred
- Experience on construction, grading, mining, or large-scale earthwork projects is a plus
- Familiarity with truck inspection procedures and safe operating practices
- Ability to operate in rugged terrain and changing jobsite conditions
- Valid driver’s license required; CDL not required unless off-site hauling is part of the role
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and communication skills
- Ability to work long hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed
- Must be willing to travel overnight when projects are outside the local area
