Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute construction plans.
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install framing components using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment.
- Perform metal building erection, metal stud framing, and structural steel installation with precision.
- Construct concrete forms and assist with rebar installation for foundations and structural elements.
- Finish concrete surfaces through smoothing, polishing, or texturing techniques to meet project specifications.
- Install drywall, stucco, siding, trim carpentry elements, and perform plastering as needed for interior and exterior finishes.
- Operate heavy machinery safely for tasks such as roofing installation, demolition, or restoration projects while adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements
- Proven construction site experience with a strong understanding of safety standards and procedures.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, and understanding schematics.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools (e.g., saws, hammers), power tools (e.g., drills, nail guns), and measuring devices like tape measures.
- Ability to perform dimensional measurements accurately using tape measures and other tools; basic math skills are essential.
- Experience with framing carpentry—including woodworking and trim carpentry—and masonry work such as bricklaying or stucco application.
- Knowledge of metal building erection, roofing techniques, drywall installation, siding work, and restoration processes is highly desirable.
- Capable of heavy lifting safely and working at heights or in confined spaces when necessary.
- Valid construction experience with the ability to interpret construction plans and schematics effectively.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate within a team environment; certification or experience in welding is a plus.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
