Siding Administrator/Quality Control Analyst

Job Summary:  Siding Administrator/Quality Control Analyst ensures the correct installation of siding across our projects. This role requires close collaboration with the scheduling team to adjust material specifications as needed, ensuring that all installations meet our quality standards.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collects builder documents to verify selections and lot/home information.
• Processes will calls to include entering purchase orders (POs).
• Compares plans, price sheets and materials lists and handles discrepancies.
• Recommends process improvements based on quality observations.
• Works with the scheduling team to coordinate timelines and assess material requirements.

• Assists with customer accounts within assigned market(s), maintain and update various records including job cost reports, inventory documents, and job-related pictures within the shared drive. 
• Prepares ad-hoc reports and provides follow up/ status updates, entering notes, updating builder records, etc. 
• Coordinates with warehouse personnel and suppliers to complete material fill-in orders, return requests, and track material back orders. 
• Updates and keeps track of Variance Purchase Orders (VPO) from builders and schedule service requests as needed.  
• Reviews Purchase Orders for accuracy, make necessary adjustments based on material usage or builder revisions. 
• Assists in tracking job progress and payment status and tracks credit card payments to match for invoicing.
• Other duties as assigned.
   

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Strong understanding of siding materials and installation techniques.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Experience in quality control or construction, particularly in siding installations.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend and perform some travel.
• Light to moderate lifting up to 15 pounds, pushing and pulling abilities.
