Job Summary: Assists supervisor by coordinating activities associated with roofing, siding, and/or maintenance installation projects and/or maintenance of existing building/clients’ grounds.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assists in planning, scheduling, and tracking production of roofing/ siding installation.
- Runs errands and assists supervisors in supply pick-up and drop-off.
- Assists Warehouse with packing and loading crew material pick-ups.
- Assists with pre/post and safety inspections and documentation, including taking pictures of completed work to ensure quality craftsmanship.
- Collaborate with the Field Supervisor to learn and develop skills in construction management.
- May operate equipment such as forklifts or company trucks.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Self-starter with ability to quickly learn construction processes and techniques
- Ability to work in both field and office settings
- Proficient with Microsoft Office technology (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Clean driving record, with no accidents or major infractions within last 3 years.
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- One year of construction experience preferred.
- Knowledge of roofing or siding preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 50-85 pounds at times.
- Must be able to climb ladder and traverse roof at times.
- Must be able to access and navigate all areas of construction site in various types of weather.
