We are a self-performing service provider covering all or parts of 15 states-Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia.
Job Title: -- Fire Alarm Technician
Job Summary: --Looking for leaders that want a future not a job. Possess and exhibit a strong focus on quality, professionalism, integrity, customer service skills along with proficiency in servicing, troubleshooting and maintaining Fire Alarm Systems and related products. Must be well organized to keep accurate service and maintenance records and communicate effectively.
Responsibilities: --
- Responsible for servicing all products and equipment on assigned service calls and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Uses a variety of hand-tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair systems.
- Ability to read and interpret product specifications and experience in working with building specifications, drawings and designs.
- Identify, analyze, diagnose, and repair systems and products at customer’s location.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal building codes practices and regulations.
- Complete accurate written service work reports and related forms.
- Ability to analyze and complete repairs.
- Be aware and remain responsible for his or her truck inventory.
- Perform preventative maintenance, service repairs and modifications as needed or requested by customers.
- Self-motivated, able to work unsupervised and able to complete assigned tasks within allotted timeframes.
- Ability to work in a variety of indoor and outdoor working conditions.
- Periodically run after hour service calls while on call.
- The employer retains the right to change or assign other duties to this position as needed.
Qualifications: --
- 1. High School Diploma (or GED/High School Equivalence Certificate).
- Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
- Knowledge of the service industry, electrical, mechanical methods, material, equipment, fire alarm codes and practices.
