Our client is a fast-growing law firm focused on estate planning and elder law with offices in New Jersey and New York, seeking a Director of Client Services to lead our client-facing operations of the firm. This role is at the heart of firm's operations, overseeing the intake and client services team while ensuring seamless coordination across administrative and operational functions. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Client Services Leadership
- Lead the client services and intake team to deliver an exceptional, white-glove experience to every client.
- Establish, train, and oversee call scripting, consultation scheduling protocols, and service standards.
- Monitor and analyze service delivery metrics to identify gaps, friction points, or missed opportunities.
- Serve as the champion for client experience across the entire lifecycle—from initial inquiry to ongoing client care.
Administrative & Operational Oversight
- Oversee day-to-day administrative functions, including scheduling, records management, and office operations.
- Ensure efficient workflows between client services, attorneys, paralegals, and back-office staff.
- Implement and refine SOPs for intake, onboarding, client communications, and follow-up.
- Support technology, systems, and automation initiatives to streamline client and administrative operations.
Team Development & Leadership
- Supervise and mentor client-facing and administrative staff; promote a culture of accountability and service excellence.
- Lead training, performance reviews, and professional development within the client services team.
- Collaborate with attorneys, marketing, and finance to ensure alignment of service delivery with firm capacity and goals.
Collaboration & Strategy
- Work closely with the leadership team on strategic initiatives, growth and innovation.
- Provide data-driven insights on performance and administrative operations to support decision-making.
- Contribute to cross-functional projects such as new service offerings, technology upgrades, and process improvements.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or management training preferred.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in client services, operations, or practice management within an Elder Law / Estate Planning law firm.
- Demonstrated success leading client-facing teams, with strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Exceptional organizational ability, with proven experience implementing SOPs and improving workflows.
- Excellent communicator (written and verbal) with the ability to set clear expectations and inspire high performance.
- Tech-savvy, with comfort using CRMs, practice management platforms, and automation tools.

Pay: $89,652.62 - $107,968.74 per year
