What are the responsibilities and job description for the Foster Care Coordinator Supervisor (Durham, NC) position at Alpha Management Community Services, Inc.?
Alpha Management Community Services, Inc., a Human Service Agency in Durham, NC is currently seeking a Foster Supervisor to join Management Team. Ideal candidate should have multiple years of experience in Foster Care Services, meet criteria of a Qualified Professional and 4-year degree in related field. (ie: Human Services, Social Work etc.)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
1. Meet at least 2x a month with leadership team of AMCS to report all pertinent high level information.
2. Meet all monthly reports/spreadsheet deadlines.
3. Co-facilitate, if necessary, group staff meetings and foster parent group supervision.
4. Ensure all documentation for all staff is completed correctly and on time, as well as conduct quarterly chart audits (monitor quality).
5. If requested provide information to the QA/QI committee quarterly.
6. Provide ongoing coaching to Foster Care Coordinators.
7. Be knowledgeable of all changes and updates that occur at the county, state and federal levels in relation to foster care by attending local provider meetings, FFTA meetings etc.
8. Supervise 2-3 Foster Care Coordinators.
9. Keep Foster Care Director informed of any staff changes and/or staff concerns.
10. Be available by phone for emergency calls after hours as needed.
11. Work to resolve problems quickly and not let them linger.
12. Will be responsible for working a micro caseload (no more than 4 children if needed).
13. Set goals and priorities for department and staff.
14. Ensure all policies/procedures are being followed by staff.
15. Complete annual evaluations of staff and send reports to Foster Care Director.
16. Review all critical incident reports and IRIS reports before submission.
17. Assist with making placements and following up on referrals.
18. Assist Foster Care Director with coming up with ideas to make operations run smoothly
19. Other duties as assigned.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $47,000.00 per year
