Key Responsibilities
- Meet with commercial and business clients to assess their security needs and recommend customized solutions.
- Present proposals and confidently close sales for doors, locks, glass, intercoms, access control systems, and surveillance cameras.
- Use your technical expertise to educate clients and help them choose the best solutions for their businesses.
- Build lasting relationships with business clients through exceptional service and follow-up.
- Collaborate with the installation team to ensure smooth execution of sold projects.
- Track sales activities, maintain accurate records, and consistently follow up with leads and clients.
- Identify opportunities to upsell additional products and services to drive revenue growth.
- Serve as the bridge between sales and operations, explaining sold projects clearly to technicians and field managers.
- Send regular sales reports to the management team detailing performance, progress, and client feedback.
What You Bring
Experience:
- At least 4 years of hands-on experience in door installations, locksmithing, or low-voltage systems (intercoms, access control, surveillance cameras, glass).
- Prior experience in sales or a client-facing role is a strong plus.
Skills:
- Technical knowledge of installation processes and security products.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated, organized, and collaborative, able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Open-minded and eager to learn new systems and technologies.
Other Requirements:
- Fluent in English (speaking, reading, and writing).
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel across New York and New Jersey.
- Know how to order locksmith hardware.
