Role Summary
Alpha Locksmith & Security is hiring an experienced Bookkeeper to support and manage the company’s day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have 4–5 years of bookkeeping experience and a strong background in QuickBooks, accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and financial recordkeeping. This role also includes light administrative support to help maintain efficient office and financial processes.
Core Responsibilities: Accounting & Financial Operations
Accounts Payable (A/P)
- Record and process vendor invoices and expenses
- Coordinate and track outgoing payments
Accounts Receivable (A/R)
- Prepare customer invoices
- Monitor unpaid balances and assist with collection follow-ups
- Maintain accurate general ledger records
- Complete bank and credit card reconciliations regularly
- Assist with month-end and year-end accounting close processes
QuickBooks Administration
- Maintain up-to-date financial data within QuickBooks (Online/Desktop)
- Ensure expenses and job costs are categorized correctly
- Prepare and generate reports such as:
- Profit & Loss Statements
- Balance Sheets
- Cash Flow Reports
Administrative Duties
- Provide support with office administration, filing, documentation, and vendor communication
- Assist with payroll-related data preparation when needed
- Keep financial records and supporting documents organized and accessible
QualificationsRequired Skills & Experience
- 4–5 years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks
- Experience handling A/P, A/R, and general ledger functions
- High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in construction, security, or service-oriented industries
- Knowledge of job costing procedures
- Familiarity with payroll systems and processes
Compensation & Growth Opportunities
- Annual salary range: $55,000 – $72,000, based on experience
- Eligibility for performance-based bonuses
- Opportunity for advancement into Senior Bookkeeper or Accounting Manager roles

- Timely completion of monthly financial close activities
- Effective management of accounts receivable aging and collections
- Consistent accuracy in financial reporting
- Well-maintained audit records with minimal corrections or discrepancies
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
