As our Business Development Manager, you’ll represent the AKD brand in the Cleveland area, connecting with private practice owners, building authentic relationships, and driving new business opportunities on a weekly basis.
You’ll be the face of Alpha Key Digital in the community — attending local networking events, visiting practices, and reaching out to prospects across Ohio and beyond.
This isn’t a “hard sell” position. You’ll utilize insight, empathy, and strategy to identify opportunities, nurture relationships, and close deals that benefit both the client and our agency.
You’ll collaborate closely with our CEO and marketing team to refine messaging, pitch decks, and case studies that position Alpha Key Digital as the leading growth partner for aesthetic and wellness professionals.
- Develop and execute a local sales strategy focused on private practice healthcare (plastic surgery, medspa, dermatology, wellness clinics).
- Represent Alpha Key Digital at networking events, conferences, and community gatherings.
- Identify and qualify leads through both outbound and inbound efforts.
- Build authentic relationships with practice owners and decision-makers.
- Conduct discovery calls to understand business goals and tailor marketing solutions.
- Present proposals, pitch decks, and case studies that showcase AKD’s results.
- Maintain and update all sales activities within the CRM — from initial contact to close.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to improve messaging, offers, and positioning.
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- 3 years of experience in business development, consultative sales, or marketing sales (agency or healthcare preferred).
- Existing relationships within the plastic surgery, medical spa, or aesthetics industries are a significant plus.
- Proven success in closing service-based deals (marketing, media, SaaS, or similar).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — you know when to lead and when to listen.
- Strong CRM and pipeline management habits (HubSpot, Pipedrive, or similar).
- Highly organized, proactive, and follow through on every lead.
- A natural networker who enjoys meeting people and representing a mission-driven brand.
- Access to reliable transportation and the ability to travel within the Cleveland area.
- Competitive base salary uncapped commission structure (OTE $80k–$120k)
