The Brand Designer plays a critical role in maintaining and evolving Alpha Industries’ visual identity, ensuring that all creative execution aligns with our brand DNA while contributing to strategic seasonal campaigns, brand storytelling, and graphics across digital, retail, and physical environments.


A multidisciplinary creative role operating across brand identity, campaign storytelling, apparel graphics, this position partners cross-functionally to bring cohesive creative visions to life through compelling and culturally relevant design execution.


This is a hybrid position, in office 2-3 days a week.


PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:


Brand Identity Development:

  • Maintain and evolve Alpha Industries’ visual identity, ensuring brand consistency across all digital and physical channels.
  • Design foundational brand assets, including logos, typography, color palettes, and templates to enhance brand cohesion.
  • Partner with the Marketing Team to bring strategic seasonal briefs to life through compelling creative executions across all communication touchpoints.
  • Contribute concepts, mood boards, and presentation materials to visually convey execution strategies for seasonal and brand-level initiatives.


Content Creation:

Develop high-impact visual assets for a variety of platforms, including (but not limited to):

  • Digital marketing materials, including e-commerce, email, and social media assets.
  • Ensure that all content aligns with campaign goals and brand positioning, enhancing audience engagement and conversion.
  • Retail creative, including window displays, in-store signage, and merchandising graphics.
  • Graphics, motion assets, and visual storytelling content that align with brand and campaign objectives.


Creative Development:

  • While the core creative strategy is led by the Marketing Director, support photo shoots and visual campaigns through concept development, design execution, and creative asset development.
  • Support the development of seasonal creative concepts through visual design execution aligned with campaign narratives and business objectives.
  • Contribute to apparel graphic ideation aligned with seasonal campaigns and brand storytelling.
  • Contribute mood boards, concept decks, and visual presentations to effectively communicate creative direction and campaign execution.


Collaboration Communication:

  • Work closely with the Senior Manager and Marketing Director to ensure all creative outputs align with seasonal campaigns, brand standards, and business objectives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, creative, merchandising, and product teams to align seasonal storytelling with apparel and campaign execution.
  • Manage multiple creative projects simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail, organization, and adherence to deadlines.
  • Stay ahead of design trends, fashion movements, cultural shifts, emerging technologies, and competitor benchmarks to ensure Alpha Industries remains visually innovative and culturally relevant.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proficient in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects), with a strong understanding of modern digital and AI-assisted creative workflows.
  • Strong understanding of digital design principles and how they support brand strategy, storytelling, and consumer engagement across multiple platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to create elevated typographic compositions, layout systems, and visual storytelling frameworks across digital, retail, and apparel applications.
  • Portfolio showcasing innovative design concepts, apparel graphics, campaign storytelling, and high-impact digital creative execution.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to clearly present creative concepts and rationale to cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple creative projects simultaneously while maintaining strong organization, attention to detail, and adherence to deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced creative environment.
  • Proven ability to leverage motion, video, and social-first creative content to enhance brand storytelling and audience engagement.
  • Familiarity with UX/UI design principles and digital user experience best practices.
  • Understanding of social-first creative formats, motion graphics, and culturally relevant visual storytelling across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and emerging digital channels.
  • Strong interest in and understanding of current trends in fashion, lifestyle, art, culture, music, entertainment, streetwear, and street culture, with the ability to translate cultural references and trends into commercially viable, on-brand creative executions.
  • Demonstrated cultural awareness and ability to design for a diverse, global consumer base.
  • Portfolio showcasing the ability to blend cultural relevance, fashion sensibility, and digital design into impactful brand storytelling.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in digital design, preferably within a similar industry. Streetwear space a plus.

  • This position is largely a sedentary role; however, the position does work with product which would require the ability to lift boxes, pack and hang product.

Salary : $70,000 - $85,000
