What you'll do..
- Manage and oversee daily timekeeping for equipment usage, ensuring accurate tracking of hours and operational status.
- Prepare and submit detailed reports on equipment usage, maintenance, and associated costs to the Accounting department for accurate financial tracking and budgeting.
- Ensure that all company vehicles are properly licensed, registered, and compliant with safety regulations. Maintain and update vehicle registration and safety documentation.
- Manage insurance policies for all equipment and vehicles, ensuring that insurance cards are kept in vehicles and claims are processed promptly.
- Schedule and oversee routine maintenance and repairs for all company equipment, including coordinating with external vendors as necessary.
- Assist in the procurement of new equipment, maintain accurate records of equipment inventory, and manage equipment allocation across projects.
- Prepare and manage all equipment-related documentation, including inspections, certifications, and maintenance records.
- Serve as the main point of contact for equipment-related inquiries and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely availability and proper use of equipment.
- Track equipment usage and ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. Develop and implement cost reduction strategies and ensure efficient operation of logistics and procurement processes.
- Perform other duties as assigned related to equipment management and vehicle administration.
About you..
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in equipment management or a similar administrative role within the construction industry is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel, is required.
- Experience with equipment management software (e.g., HCSS) is preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with excellent communication abilities.
- Knowledge of equipment maintenance practices and safety regulations.
This position requires on-site work and is not eligible for remote work.
Compensation: $25-$30 per hour, based on experience.
