What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vascular Sonographer Quality / Technical Lead position at Alpha Home Health and Hospice?
Coordinates functions between the Imaging and Patient Care Teams, performs Vascular Ultrasound exams, and directs staff in a fast-paced environment.
Assists with departmental operations, scheduling, supplies, and data collection for accreditation.
Participates in hiring, evaluating, and mentoring technologists, ensuring quality and adherence to protocols.
Maintains equipment, manages reports, and ensures compliance with industry standards.
Acts as technical director for accreditation, overseeing quality assurance and documentation.
Ensures staff credentials and CME requirements are met, updates protocols, and participates in quality improvement activities.
Requires 4-5 years of vascular ultrasound experience, RVT or RVS registration, and proficiency in carotid, venous, arterial duplex, PVR, mesenteric duplex, and fistulas.
