Role And Responsibilities
- Provide patient care via inbound and outbound telephone triage under supervisor guidance.
- Assess caller needs through active listening, clinical evaluation, and problem-solving.
- Manage patient needs with focus on acute and preventative interventions.
- Perform phone triage, patient education, and continuous glucose monitor placement/testing.
- Handle insurance pre-authorizations, referrals, and maintain exam room readiness.
- Current Illinois RN licensure and CPR certification from AHA.
- Office RN experience and BSN preferred.
- Ability to handle high-stress situations independently.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs.
- Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Deliver compassionate patient care through phone-based assessments.
- Educate patients and manage ongoing healthcare needs.
- Support clinical operations by maintaining exam rooms and supplies.
