Registered Nurse - Per Diem Nights

Position Overview: This role is for an Emergency Department Registered Nurse responsible for providing clinical and managerial duties in a fast-paced hospital setting. The nurse evaluates patient outcomes, performs comprehensive assessments across all age groups, and manages pain effectively. They utilize triage protocols to prioritize care and communicate with healthcare team members regarding patient conditions and diagnostic results.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care, adjusting nursing plans as needed for optimal outcomes
• Conduct head-to-toe assessments and reassessments per policy
• Assess and educate patients and families on pain management
• Utilize triage processes for timely, appropriate patient care
• Participate in staff hiring and communicate effectively with physicians and colleagues
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 2 years ED experience
• Current RN license in practice state
• Current BCLS certification
• ACLS and PALS certifications within six months of hire
• Optional certifications: ENPC, TNCC
