Role: Supports adult neuro-oncology patients as a Registered Nurse in an outpatient setting, providing complex care coordination, clinical evaluation, and patient resource support.
Responsibilities: Develops and revises care plans collaboratively, administers chemotherapy/immunotherapy, performs nurse telephone triage, discharge planning, and advanced drug preparation, ensuring optimal patient outcomes within a multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, active Maryland or Compact RN license, BLS CPR certification, and at least 2 years of oncology nursing experience.
Skills & Qualities: Strong clinical assessment, care coordination, teamwork, and communication skills, with experience in supportive care and clinical interventions in oncology.
Key Duties: Support clinic operations in an NCI-Designated Cancer Center, serve as a resource for patients and providers, and support research and standard care treatments in a fast-paced environment.
