- Utilize radiologic principles, anatomy, and pathology to produce accurate examinations.
- Follow department policies, protocols, and safety guidelines, including radiation protection.
- Assist in teaching radiography students and communicate effectively with patients to obtain history and consent.
- Recognize and respond to clinical or emergent issues, ensuring patient safety and satisfaction.
- Accurately identify and track patients, maintain proper documentation, and ensure correct labeling of images.
- Operate imaging equipment per manufacturer instructions and stay updated on technological advances.
- Maintain a clean, organized environment, stock supplies, and participate in performance improvement activities.
- Recent hospital radiologic technologist experience preferred.
- Ability to perform on-call, shift, holiday, and weekend duties.
- Strong communication, confidentiality, customer service, and electronic health record skills.
- Valid Delaware Radiation license, state licensure, and BLS certification required.
- Associates degree in a related field.
