Pharmacy Student

Role Overview: Supports and assists the pharmacist in medication preparation, distribution, and inventory control to ensure patient-focused pharmacy services. Acts as a resource for entry-level technicians and assists with training, workflow improvements, and floor stock inspections.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with medication dispensing under pharmacist supervision
• Help train and support pharmacy technicians
• Manage inventory and perform floor stock inspections
• Contribute to workflow efficiency and medication safety
• Ensure all medications are checked by the pharmacist before dispensing
  
  

Qualifications & Skills:

• Enrolled in the first year of an accredited PharmD program
• Registered as a Pharmacy Intern or Technician in good standing with the state Board of Pharmacy
• Meeting all requirements as a P1 student
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills
  
  

Additional Information: No supervisory duties, with some PRN work including evenings and weekends, aligned with pharmacy needs. The role emphasizes adherence to mission, values, and service standards.
