Part-Time Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a Part-Time Pharmacy Technician to support hospital pharmacy operations under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, Supervisor, or Director of Pharmacy Services.

Key responsibilities include

• filling routine drug orders for unit dose medications
• refilling medications in Pharmacy Automated Dispensing Cabinets
• performing Non-Sterile and Sterile Compounding
• repackaging medications into unit dose barcoded packages
• replenishing code cart drug supplies
• managing inventory for the Central Pharmacy
  
  

Qualifications include a

• high school diploma (preferred)
• minimum of 3 months pharmacy technician experience (hospital experience desirable)
• valid certification such as CPhT or ExCPT
• licensure as a Registered Pharmacy Technician or Intern as per state law
  
  

Skills required include attention to detail, ability to perform sterile and non-sterile compounding, and inventory management.

Shift involves evening hours from 2:30 pm to 11 pm, including every third weekend.
