Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Nokia OLTs, routers, switches, and other optical network equipment in central office environments.
- Oversee central office operations, including rack installations, power connections, and cable management, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and connectivity issues, providing support during outages to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, changes, and maintenance logs; prepare performance reports.
- Collaborate with network engineers, NOC, field technicians, and communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Manage inventory of network devices, decommission outdated equipment, and participate in emergency support rotations.
- Strong knowledge of FTTH, optical networking, and central office operations.
- Hands-on experience with Nokia network equipment.
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and participate in on-call rotations.
