What are the responsibilities and job description for the NDT Technician Level 1 - Swing Shift position at Alpha Home Health and Hospice?
Role: Responsible for performing quality inspections using NDT methods such as X-Ray, Penetrant, and Magnetic Particle testing.
Key Duties: Inspect, process, and evaluate surface and subsurface discontinuities, certify product conformance, create NDT techniques and work instructions, operate and maintain NDT equipment, process X-ray film, perform surface treatments, and communicate with engineers on inspection issues.
Qualifications & Skills: Certification in RT, PT, and/or MP; ability to interpret specifications, blueprints, and gauges; effective communication skills; physical ability to lift weights; proficiency in Microsoft Office; and ability to pass internal certifications.
Physical & Environmental Requirements: Able to work in production environments with hazardous materials, wet or humid conditions, and noise; requires visual acuity, color perception, and physical dexterity.
Additional Info: Works under indirect supervision, follows established policies, and adheres to safety and security regulations, including export controls.
